Many of our summers spending time in Sheffield where the garden was plentiful and the tomatoes were perfect for the picking.  Everyone gathering around the table for lunch prepared by loving hands. Let us not forget that "last piece of hamburger" that was cut into about 8 pieces or as many people who were there and we each had to finish our last bite! Enjoying a great game of SCAT afterwards.  My sister and I begging to use the grill to roast marshmellows. Sitting together as a family on the screened in porch.

Listening to the Red Sox on the radio or watching them on tv and charging Zio Bruno a quarter for each time he would swear!! We were rich!!

Having our annual shopping trip where you met up with Zia Olga and Zio Bruno and they would buy you a special outfit or a new coat. We would always go to lunch together afterwards. If you were lucky enough to ride in Zio Bruno's car then you could partake in the jar of candy he always had in the front seat!!

Holidays were always a special time for family. I remember waiting patiently on Chirstmas night for Zia Olga and Zio Bruno to arrive so we could share dessert with them, and you knew they always had a special gift just for you.

As our family would gather for Easter we would look forward to the basket that they would bring. It was always  loaded with fresh fruit and sweets....the russell stover marshmellow eggs were our favorite! My sister and I would color eggs and would pick out special ones for Zia Olga and Zio Bruno and even tho it was just an egg, it was accepted always with a big smile.

As time has passed we have been very lucky to have the support and love of family as we graduate from high school and college. I feel extremely blessed to have had Zia Olga and Zio Bruno at my wedding. In the recent years Zio Bruno was able to meet his Great-great nephew and niece. The joy it brought to his face to see those babies and hold their tiny hands will forever be in my memory and heart.
