Story shared: My wonderful cousin

I remember at a young age looking forward to family trips to see the Collinsville gang and especially my cousin Dick. His interest and knowledge in old cars was a great help to me. In fact, on several occasions in later years he responded to my urgent requests and made the long trip to Wethersfield to bail me out of what seemed to me at the time to be a major problem with my ancient vehicles. These visits always expanded to long enjoyable conversations with Dick and my parents.

I also clearly remember the day Dick married a very nervous and wonderful girl. Thank you Mary for making his life full and rewarding.

My condolences to the Caserta family. I knew Dick through my father and the antique car hobby. Dick worked with my father way back when at Hamilton Standard. After my father died, Dick gave me some great business advice for which I am still grateful. A great guy always with a friendly smile, he will surely be missed.

We are so very sorry to hear of Mr. Caserta's passing. Unfortunately I have not seen Mr. Caserta for a while but I have so many found memories of him including looking at his restored automobiles, hanging out at Cas-Kel, playing in the pool and seeing that infectious warm smile. He was a great, kind and loving man and will be missed. Our deepest sympathy and prayers to the Caserta family.

Sorry to hear of Richards passing. I knew Dick when he was very young but even then he was very friendly and happy. At that time I was dating his sister Mildred. My condolences to the family. May God take good care of Dick

Dear Caserta family, I would like to express to you my deepest condolences for the loss of your dear Richard. A scripture of hope comes to mind in Hosea 13:14. There it says- "From the power of the Grave I will redeem them; From death I will recover them. Where are your stings, O Death? Where is your destructiveness, O Grave? Compassion will be concealed from my eyes." Death will have its end once and for all. Jehovah God will also bring back to life those who are asleep in death (John 5:28,29). We can trust in these beautiful promises.

I am so very sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Caserta. He was such a nice man and always wonderful to my son, allowing him to play in his yard or race his race car down his driveway. I will miss seeing his smile and his friendly wave. My sincere sympathies to his family.
